3.5e - Would you like some cheese with that whine?

Complaining about the amount of "options" presented by 3e, 3.5e, or any third party is like crying that there are too many monsters in the Monster Manual. "Oh no! The Digester is totally gay! My game is ruined!"

Take what you like, discard what you don't, and play the freaking game you want to play. Sheesh.

You know it's ok to have an opinion thats negative. I for one love more options, but I don't think it's unreasonable to say that I'm unhappy with options I am being presented. And when it comes to something like the increased focus on mini combat, I don't feel like they're handing me more options not one bit. Now if they wanted to have sections on how to better utilize mini's in your game, and how to forego them, then I'd be happier. But they havne't give much indication of that happening.
