3 favorite sites from classic adventures?

1. The Caves of Chaos. Ran games in this area through 4 different editions, probably will incorporate into a campaign in 4e eventually, too.

2. The Isle of Dread. See number 1.

3. Castle Ravenloft. nuff said.

Honorary mention to Saltmarsh, Restenford, Alderweg and The Forbidden City.

Three favorite D&D locations! Well,,

As mentioned earlier, classics like the KotB / Caves of Chaos, the Drow City Erelhei Cinlu (Heck, that whole Underworld setting from D1-3 wasfull of stuff to explore), and the Isle of Dread.

I'd ad B4 The Lost city. Plus I've got fond memories of Specularum and Threshold from the Duchy of Karameikos.

One great thing I remember about the old modules is they all had areas deliberately left undetailed to encourage the DM to develop their own material.

Hill Giants' Steading from G1
Tomb of Horrors
Undermountain (from the first box set)

Honorable mention: The original Demonweb from Q1

Hmm lets see:

Forbidden City
Deset Nomads series
Curse of Xanathon( this one is my favorite by far)

BTW where did you get the 'Return to the Moathouse"

from the RPGA....................................

Scenario: RETMO14E - Return to the Moathouse
Rules Code: 4E - Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition
Reward Points: 2

DescriptionFor years, the forces of Elemental Evil remained quiet. Adventurers picked through the remains of the moathouse again and again, each time finding little more than dust and the remains of epic battles of days long gone. Thus, you aren't surprised that your quarry, a murderous orc cleric of Iuz named Tahrg Soulhammer, fled there when you nearly caught him. Tahrg is intent on making a last stand, and you are more than happy to provide him with one. Yet, you can't help but wonder if there's more here than meets the eye. Tahrg is too clever to trap himself in a decrepit old ruin. Does the moathouse still harbor some dark evil? A 4th Edition adventure for 5th-level characters. Create your own character by downloading character creation rules on www.wizards.com/rpga or play a pregenerated character provided.
