It's the Scared Lands!

I think this is the result of a “poll created by committee.” Someone who was involved in the creation of the poll may have wished –for whatever reason – to discredit the result of the poll. So they put in this question.

It’s a bit like Jay Walking, on the Tonight Show, where Leno goes around and asks people “Who’s buried in Grant’s Tomb?” People say “Hillary Clinton” or “Rhode Island” or something.

The people look like idiots.

Likewise, if more than a small handful get that question wrong, they will all look like morons.

And thus the results of the poll will be discredited.

For the question in that WotC online survey, they didn't have my answer listed for why I buy a d20 product.

The author(s)!

I like when something is officially licensed too, it's a bonus. But that cirular licensed from WotC logo is good enough for me on stuff like RL and OA (that and a d20 logo), I don't think the D&D logo on anything d20 (currently non-D&D) would change my mind at all.

I like certain authors and certain companies already. If [insert crappy d20 company name here] started having the D&D logo on the cover, I still wouldn't buy it.
