3E GDQ remake in the works?

I'd love to see something like that. A detailed 'base' town with a fair number of similarly-detailed adventuring sites of various types (ruins, mines, nearby villages, etc.)--similar, now that I think of it, to Book One of the 'Night Below' mega-adventure.

A similar 3e product would get my cash inhalf a heartbeat.

You should check out Crucible of Freya from Necromancer Games. Detailed village with *lots* of adventure hooks and interesting NPC's. Especially if you d/l the supplemental encounters from their web site. A 48 page adventure with a free 23 page web supplement, all for under $10. There is even a free intro adventure "The Wizards Amulet" (18 pages - winner of an Ennie) along with some addition maps and such on their website. All in all close to 100 pages of material.

Tom Cashel - Would you share your conversion notes for the Haunted Halls? Perhaps you could post them to the conversion board or as a file to Morrus?

Thanks!

Mike

That might take some work...I actually copied the whole pdf and pasted it into a Word file and re-edited (for my own personal use! WotC, do not set the hounds on me!)...but I'll see what I can do.
