Tiptoe quickly gives Gnash and Munch the command to attack, adding a bite to his words to make sure his friend knows to act accordingly.
We don't have enough room to play around. It's a good thing Gnash and Munch are small so any other tricks Faust has can fly over their heads
Growling at the dog, Tiptoe will attack the beast if it still stands. If the beast is dead/dying/soothed, Tiptoe will give Gnash and Munch their commands to stay and come to him accordingly, to encourage them to leave the beast alone.
Hopefully they're not hungry enough right now... Though I'm kind of hungry myself at the moment Tiptoe thinks, grinning as he looks over the worg. though I suppose I already have plenty of food. If Gnash and Munch didn't eat most of it already
Attack Roll = 4 (http://krisinchico.brinkster.net/searchroll.asp?username=Tiptoe#59691) :\ I didn't roll for damage as I doubt it's a problem.
Attack Roll - Gnash = 23 (http://krisinchico.brinkster.net/searchroll.asp?username=Tiptoe#59692)
Attack Roll - Munch = 5 (http://krisinchico.brinkster.net/searchroll.asp?username=Tiptoe#59693) :) ditto for this one.
Damage Roll - Gnash to Worg = 4 (http://krisinchico.brinkster.net/searchroll.asp?username=Tiptoe#59695)

OOC: I won't roll the filth-fever bite unless you think it's really needed ;) though if the companions have a bit of my food they might want to roll ^_^

Tiptoe moves by the dog, but in doing so gives the dag an opening to attack him (AoO for moving from a threatened square to another.) The Dogs teeth skim the dwarf, but fails to penitrate the armor of the small dwarf. The rats move with speed and attack the creature (recieving a bonus for flanking) and one of them tears a nasty piece of hide from the creature.

Vanlain, the dwarven Wizard, watches as the cation starts. Seeing that the wolf is not going to attack him, or get close enough for him to attack it, starts to prepare a spell, gathering enery to himself with practiced skill... though it seems to be reluctant!

Faust, having a clear view of the worg, calls upon the arcane energy to him, and though it's hesitant to come to his beck and call, it does end up forming the red missile that flies past the others and slams into the creature! The creature staggers at the blow, but does not fall!

[Dagart's Trun!]

Worg has taken 14 points of damage to this point.

As Dagart pulls his hammer back for another blow, he circles around the beast, trying to draw its attention away from his other companions. He pulls his heavy hammer back behind his body and swings wildly, putting the full force of his weight into the blow.

OOC: I'll take a five-foot step to the square to the south of the wolf, and then Power Attack for 1 point.

Attack: 21

Damage: 6

Quick Question:
What are the numbers to the left of our names mean? (13, in my case). Is it initiative or ???
13 Tiptoe, Dwarven Druid HP:8 AC:16 -3 Shortspear 1d8-3 (Go ahead and play the rats and yourself)
11 Vanlail, Dwarven Wizard HP:5 AC:10 -1 Quarterstaff 1d6-1
9 worg HP: -5
4 Faust, Human Sorcerer HP:5 AC:10 -2 shortspear 1d8-2
14 Dagart, Dwarven Fighter HP:10 AC:18 +5 Warhammer 1d8+3

OoC: Yes, they are your initiative. I will move people down as they make thier actions. When your name is on top, it's your turn, but please don't wit to post until it appears, because I like to summarize a large portion of the round at once.

WIth a mighty swing, the wolf's head makes a remarkably loud 'smack!', the creature's eyes rolling into his head, as the rest of it's body falls.

OoC: Combat has ended, move about freely. 150 xp each + 75 xp each for NOT killing the Fire Beetles.

OOC: Now that's cute!

The characters, feeling good about their first victory, hear noises of movement coming from the norther passage of the stair room (or at least the dwarves inform the non dwarves where the echos originate from). It sounds like many running feet, as if a group of creatures are coming to investigate the alarm.
