400 Reviews eh?

Just noticed that my review count is up to 400. Scary thing is that there are a lot of other books out there that are still on my to do list including Adventure d20, Trouble in Durbenford and newer ones like Sandstorm and Warhammer FRPG 2nd edition.

Ah well, bad to the grindstone.

A better question, how does one stay sane, when having view all that material?;)

I hope you're already married, if not...step away from the computer, ignore the books, and go visit the outside. It misses you, and you're not returning its calls these days. ;)

Ah, the outside world.... it's been a while.

No, seriously, one of the ways I've been able to review it, is that I've been involved with several RPG groups, two of which have completely different people in them and use different ideas and methods. This has given me a chance to playtest anything from Slavelords of Cydnonia and Black Company, to Mutants & Masterminds and HARP.

What's also interesting though, is that I've been slowly expanding so that I've been reviewing miniatures and card games. Just finished Bell Bottomed Badasses on the Mean Streets of Funk (think I got that right), and I can easily see how Munkchin and other card games are Steve Jackson Games bread and butter. That's some fun stuff in those cards. Minimum set up, one time cost, no 'min-maxing' (well, outside of some clever combos), and generally, the cards are usuable with other sets. Good deal!

Married? Nope, but I've got a SO whose also a bit of an artist/poet (although she doesn't like RPGs... too many nerds or geeks or something) so she's pretty cool with the whole reviewing bit.

You have done great service for the gaming community. And wow, you have gone way beyond the call as well.

I'd just like to say....thank you!! :)
