40K d20

You'll have to ignore my ignorance, Hellbender, I started playing about half-way through 2nd Ed. If I could get my hands on a copy of Rogue I'd be a very happy man. Anyway, I do like the newest fluff for the 40k universe. It's all a matter of perspective I guess. Each to their own.

Btw, Drum. Where do you get your gaming stuff, Mind Games or do you order it from somewhere else?

I hope I didn't sound too abrupt. Mainly I wanted to point out the fact that in the beginning, a variable race party was possible. And Space Marines could be free agents, not Imperial or Chaos aligned.

I often pick up White Dwarf and the 40K fluff is great, as is some of the Inquisitor fluff I have read in the magazine. If you really want a copy of Rogue Trader, I would suggest trying: http://www.bartertown.org a site that is basically a wargames classifieds.

Thanks Hellbender, I'll check it out.

Hmm...renegade marines, sounds nice. The problem is with fluff though it's written by 300 different people and then edited by 300 different monkeys with type writers. I don't know if that is the case with DnD, but with 40k, the fluff just seems to change ever edition. Evolution my arse...
