4E Adventures for 1st level chars?

What adventures are there to introduce some players?

I´m playing Keep on the Shadowfell, so I can´t DM that.

Into the Shadowhaunt, the scenario for this past Worldwide D&D Game Day, is a rather good introductory scenario, if you can get it. (Perhaps you can ask your FLGS nicely.)


[Edit] There are also a couple of scenarios around on the '4e Fan Creations and House Rules' forum that you can search for. I think they were done before the rules were released, but should work if you check them through before running them.

In the back of the DMG is a short adventure, basically that is "PREV-1 Scalegloom Hall". If you are a RPGA Herald level GM you can get the PREV-1 and PREV-2 (Escape from Sembia) adventure. These are both the ones that were run at the D&D Experience.

There is also the "Raiders of Oakhurst - Reloaded", which has enough adventure to last quite some time.

A lot of these adventures were written pre-4e release. So:

1) Be sure to check the monster numbers.

2) The monsters are a little monotonous. In many of these, kobolds are also used. Check out the Dragon article that gives new kobolds, just to spice things up.

3) If you're looking to further customize your adventure, here are some fan made monsters: keterys has made a bunch, and The_Jester is converting a lot of low-level monsters from older editions.
