4e and me

IBL.

This thread was doomed from the start. I've been playing since getting a Red Box 24 years ago and I've played all editions of D&D and I enjoy 4E quite a bit. I like a lot of other game systems too, but I fail to see how this thread helps anything.

Enjoy the game you like to play and let others enjoy the game they like to play is my gaming motto.

I was reading the articles to see where WOTC was headed with D&D. And I wasn't happy with the direction it seemed MM was going.

This thread won't be treated as such by folks who feel you are disparaging their edition of the game. Rather than discuss where D&D is going, this thread will be barraged by "If you don't like it, don't play it" posts (odd since you have already stated that intention) and your discussion of where the game is heading will be shut down by the edition war you didn't want this to become. Start a new thread and avoid all mentions of editions if you want it to survive.

To billd91 and JamesonCourage: experience point comments are not an appropriate place to make personal attacks. If it would have been unacceptable as its own post, it's unacceptable in an xp comment.

Downtime in downtown, down under, all on the down low.

I'm down with that.

Mike, way to start a thread. LOL

This thread is going nowhere useful fast.

Some of you will blame this on the topic, or on the OP, but you'd be wrong to do so. It is your collective behavior that led this way.
