Very curious, I didn't say anything negative
"Just thought I'd point out that you contributed to the unacceptable behavior."
Unless you'd like to tell us that
wasn't negative.
only point out what you said
My being sarcastic about the OP is a very different thing from crapping on someone else's game of choice in order to make you feel better about your own.
Don't worry, I removed the plank from my own eye long ago.
and then asked if we could get along w/o resorting to name calling, sarcasm, and warring.
I'm afraid that ship sailed with the OP.
My credibility is simple here, you posted a sarcastic comment that could only serve to inflame what has already become dangerously close to an edition war thread.
There's nothing "dangerously close" about it. This was an edition war thread from the first post, and was destined to be locked from the get-go. As I pointed out, it was so
obviously edition warring that the forum mod over at the Paizo boards locked it before it got even a single reply.
I mean, this thread isn't even in the 4e subforum! Did the OP post it in General so that it would be seen by more people who
aren't fans of 4e, thus contributing to the hostile nature of the thread? Who knows!
I need nothing more "credible" to prove my point other than to point out what you yourself said, so I believe you are mistaken sir in reference to my credibility.
Again, I'm guilty of sarcasm. If that were the same as what I'm calling others out for, you'd have a point. But it's not. I'm calling others out for something entirely different, but you are (for whatever reason) trying to neuter that by painting me as a hypocrite. It's not appreciated, it's not credible, and you could probably pick a better time to go after me than when I'm telling two different people not to crap over 4e
or Pathfinder.
So after a comment like this, it also only serves to point out again that I'm correct in that this thread has degraded and should probably be shut down before it blows up and other nasty things are said.
I don't think anyone's going to disagree with you here.
