This isn't about D&DI, just to get that out of the way.
Background to the question: I play RPGs exclusively online. Thus I tend to be leery of games that require a lot of back-and-forth to resolve rules such as combat.
To anyone that has the rules (even "Keep on the Shadowfell") and/or has played some of 4E: How much communication has to go on between players and DM to resolve an action?
