4e Combat Playtest [FULL]

Formation wise I would not mind having Brudd in the front, I believe he has the highest AC and is likely the slowest character. Perhaps something like this...

---------

B-)---------
;)

 = Cleric
 = Minotaur Fighter
 = Fighter
B-) = Wizard
 = Wizard
;) = Rogue

But then I am not well versed in 4th edition tactics.

By the way, now that I think about it, we're back to six I guess. Nacmcfeegle hasn't posted in a while. Oh well I intented to go with six originally anyway...

Sharm likes the formation: he's at the leading edge, more or less, and he can keep an eye on the well-being of his cousin and buddy, Brudd. (It also doesn't hurt to be so close to some healing, either.)

OOC: btw, that is incredibly cool to show the marching order with smileys! I've never seen that before, and it never would have occurred to me to even try it! Thanks for a great idea!

Hey Leif want to be cousins again? How does Sharm Brassback grab you?

My reasoning was that Brudd's AC along with Uncanny Dodge, etc., means that he is less likely to be hit minimizing party damage. He also has strong saves and decent hit points and will be in a better position to use powers like Shield of Faith.

COOL!! :D That would be GREAT! (As if we needed an explanation for why there are two minotaurs in a playtest group.....)

Sharm Brassback, I like it! I'm going to have to get off my rear end and come up with the last name for our next set of cousins, though. I'm not pulling my weight around here! Actually, truth be told, if was your awesome last name in WD's game that first made me want to be cousins -- I just had to have that name for myself! hehehe, but, selfishness aside, it's working out very well, I'd say. Again, such rp considerations have no bearing on the mechanics of this thread, but it'll still help for my personal enjoyment.

And one of these times soon, I get to be the spellcasting cousin!! :p

Yes I love the name Thandergast, I am playing a Psion and a Wizard in RL names who share the surname. I though one was going to be a one off, but both ended up being long running characters.

I want to be the wizard with the cool shades!

 = Eiran (muhaha)

First come first served ;), by which I mean wink not rogue - just to be clear :p.

Deal :D, I likes me casters, but I am trying to branch out, just ran a Reaping Mauler which was oodles of fun.

[sblock=Halford branches out] "I grapple the Behir."
DM: "Yeah good luck with that *rolls* hah! Nat 20, 45, beat that!"
Halford: "Okay I rolled an 11, gotcha! I try to pin it ."
DM: :-S
Halford: "Hehe, hey you told me to play a melee character..."[/sblock]

Halford, I think we are seeing the nascent beginnings of an ENWorld dynasty here! We'll always join the same games and play cousins! The DMs will soon come to dread our appearance in their threads! muahahahahaa, our evil plan is working! The (EN)World will soon be ours!!!
