4e Combat Playtest [FULL]

Deal :D, I likes me casters, but I am trying to branch out, just ran a Reaping Mauler which was oodles of fun.

[sblock=Halford branches out] "I grapple the Behir."
DM: "Yeah good luck with that *rolls* hah! Nat 20, 45, beat that!"
Halford: "Okay I rolled an 11, gotcha! I try to pin it ."
DM: :-S
Halford: "Hehe, hey you told me to play a melee character..."[/sblock]
That's too funny! Actually, it is very rare for me to NOT play a caster, more often than not, a wizard, but there's something to be said for the occasional cleric, too. (Especially if you're trying to get into an already crowded thread!! Seems like playing a cleric is almost cheating in that case! hehehe)

So, is everyone alright with the formation proposed by Half?
By the way, keep in mind that you won't be able to change your characters after I post the IC thread (because some of you might want to change something after seeing it...) so, if you want,do it now...
HH, I guess Kozaar will be riding his griffon?

Not sure what you mean about not being able to change our characters after IC thread goes up. I've got another bonus to add in for Sharm's damage inflicted due to his being a Battlerager wearing chainmail. I've made a note of that on his sheet. Is that going to be ok?

I approve of the marching order/formation. I also approve this post. hehe

Ata what if I select an item that is 18th instead of 19th level can I get the monetary difference to spend on others items or would I just loose the difference? Because I have 2 18ths that I am interested in.

Atanatotatos: another one!

Yeah, I did the same thing with Sharm, too. The total levels of his items does not add up to what was intended for the characters, but I got as close as I was able to, and I erred on the side of being too low (or at least I intended to do so).

Ok, do it. But on one item max.
Actually, I think I had a similar problem with two items, but I'm not looking to get the difference in gold. I'm just letting you know because I wasn't able to follow your character creation guidelines exactly, no matter how hard I tried. Where I had to deviate from the guidelines, I did so in such a way as to give my character a somewhat less-powerful item. Relatively speaking, of course. Sharm is still a very capable butt-kicker! (As you are about to see, if his player can avoid terminal brain cramps!)

Okay I am ready to go, Brudd is officially complete! Incidently he will start play having rested in his restful bedroll so he has 1d8 temp hp if thats okay.

Cousin Sharm

"Hey, that Restful Bedroll shoulda been mine! Granny always did like me better." :p <sigh> She was a Great ol' Granny and loads of fun, right up until that Greek sunuvagun with the spool of twine did her so dirty!"
