Parallels, VirtualBox, Bootcamp, whatever that thing MS Makes. Not great solutions, and you still have to pay for windows, but they're necessary sometimes. Of course, it helps if you either had an old install of Windows or the job will give you one.

Right now, its the only thing I have to boot into windows for.

A warden would be fun I think the next defender I play would either be a warden or a swordmage, so it'll be cool to see how the warden plays at epic.

So ... how do we pick the 6th? Looks like we've got a swordmage, taclord, and bard to choose from, with all roles covered already. Doubling up on defenders or leaders are both good moves, so looking at roles doesn't really help.

Everybody who has a character submitted rolls a d20?

Each current member can give a +2 to the roll.

I give my +2 to anyone with a solid interactive background with Orelal, who's character participated in the tower ritual.


Someone has to have a better way than that though...

Turns out their update servers are down. at least that's the error message I get when I cancel the update.

Umm ... I'd much rather not leave it to random chance, even if we give ourselves the ability to influence the roll.

I'd prefer to have a little discussion followed perhaps by a vote, if covaithe wants us to make the call instead of biting the 'bad guy' bullet himself. I would feel more comfortable doing that privately, though, to avoid hurt feelings.

@renau: That sucks. Haven't you updated since the PHB2 content made it into the CB, though? Can't you just start with what you've got, and get stuff from the latest Dragons and EPG later? Just curious, I forget if it lets you use the full CB without updating or not, since I only have the trial version.

You can; it doesn't break. That way, if you unsubscribe, it still functions w/ the last dataset you had permissions for.

Yeah, me neither. I'd like to make a decision in, say, two days. I'll decide, but I'd welcome input from the other players, either here or by pm/email/whatever.
