I missed your edit with the backstory, KS, so thanks for pointing it out. I like it, and it sounds like something any DM could have a heyday with!

As for mechanics, I notice you took Weapon Expertise. Covaithe has said that we get a flat +1/+2/+3 bonus to all attacks at level 5/15/25, so you have an extra feat you can spend on something. I believe you've spent too much on your items as well - you only get 125,000 gp to spend (a level 20 item, not a level 21 item ;)). Other than that, not much I can comment on.

Also, I learned that Epic [Defense] is not a feat bonus, so you can stack it with other defense feats! That's very good to know.

Thanks for this, Lord Sessadore. Changes made, though I realize the Ioun stone is a luxury and re-investing two feats would give me the languages.

Cheers. KS

Actually this is why I got rid of my lvl 21 ioun stone of sustenance, with just 1 feat (being a revenant) I no longer need to eat, drink, or breathe... although now Kalas is no longer considered a living creature. Thankfully the MMMC should be fine with that.

Well, Sarenax will have a few things to say about undead in the party ... but if they are fellow servants of the Raven Queen, he'll calm down fairly quickly. If they're good enough for her, they're good enough for him ;)

Just please don't turn him ;). Although Kalas is not only a servant of the Raven Queen, but a chosen of hers as well.

My level n-1 item is a 19 instead of 20, does that equal to 20,000 extra to do rituals and such with!? I thought that is what I read earlier...

I've yet to hear from Ata as well... Hopefully he is just having internet problems.

I'll post up Orelal "Massacre" Lunareth in the RG just as soon as I work his equipment out, meaning rituals mostly.

So far, Sarenax, Kalas, and Kylek, all participated in Orelal's rituals. When Ata gets back to us, I'll find out about Mr. Duran.

Do any of the potential sixth members wish to include there characters?

Currently, I'm going to assume that all five of Orelal's team members participated. Which makes the HS burden of the initial casting not as bad. Massacre will still have to keep his HS high to sustain each spell for the year and a day neccesary. (ten rituals tops currently, if that changes I'll update it before it hits the RG)

I'm debating a mount, but haven't come to a full decision yet... Has alot to do with the Level n-1 leftover gold, and if I want to use the feat for it.

Ok, I've updated my background in the RG. It'll be interesting to see the others reactions when Kalas arrives and they see their former companion turned into an undead creature (and he won't remember them)...good times.

I really dig the throwing shield... it's great for my PC because it should be rare that he can reach an enemy (as his mount can move up to 22 squares with a charge action), but in case of fliers (although he can delay and then hit them with Sudden Roots or Weight of Earth ;))

Are you sure you wanto to buy life shrouds? You won't be able to touch bodies that have them, since you're undead.

I'm going to say no to Dawn Warrior armor, since it's from.... E1: Death's Reach. You guys might find some, but no starting with it.

You guys and your cloaks of displacement. Sheesh! Somebody be original! :)

I think (anyone check me on this?) that the Ring of Invigoration's surge benefits from the Belt of Mountain Endurance, so that should be 54 HP.

Likewise Bear's Endurance.

Throwing shield as a ranged attack; I make it as +21 to hit: +10 (half level) +7 (str) +2 (from the shield's description) +2 (free expertise). What am I missing?

Son of Mercy PP is from Dragon 370; I think I'll allow it but I haven't really had time to think it over, so I reserve the right to nerf it after seeing it in play. If I do, you'll have a chance to pick something else.

Lawbreaker's Doom: when you hit the target, it's slowed until your ENT in addition to taking 7 extra damage.

Dispensed justice triggers when the LD target makes an attack that doesn't include you, not just when its attack does include someone else.

I'm not done with the powers yet, so I may have more to say in the morning.
