D&D 4E 4E Cyradon

Despite playing close to 2 dozen sessions, I've not been particularly enamored with 4E. But I'm determined to delve deeper into the system and GM a campaign of my own. I've got players lined up and hope to start by Thanksgiving.

So with that said, I'm looking at using Cyradon (ICE Harp) as my setting and wondered if anyone had done any conversion to 4E?

For those who have seen Cyradon, do you think that it's "PoL" flavor would be a good match for 4E?

I think, at least at a cursory glance, that it's a decent fit. I think both try to reach the same type of high adventure feel (at least on the surface). I think you could strip and redress existing monsters to fit the setting easily enough. The thing I think you need to think about is level. 4e is designed to take you through epic, while Cyradon expects you to retire the characters after low-level play. Which ever way you go with that, you'll want to think it out before hand.

That's a good point, but I don't think it will be too difficult to get around it. Between the city of Belynar and land's of Cyradon, there are many opportunities for higher level adventure. Cyradon's "PoL" flavor just seemed to be such a perfect fit for 4E that I couldn't pass it up.

Fitting tiefling's into the setting is my current challenge. Dragonborn were a breeze.
