Anyone know what the "Collector's" edition 3e books are worth now?

So, so expensive. Anyway, still waiting to hear if these will include errata. I think given the price these really should be as error-free as possible, to sweeten the deal.

Agreed, which I think they did for the 3.5 version.

Will they be actual hard bound books, or just cardboard articles like the current books?

The leather-bound books sound pretty cool. I just can't imagine paying 2-3 times the price of the base books for nothing but the new cover.

The material the cover's made of is not an indicator if a book is truly hard-bound. Most Hardcover books these days are glue bound, essentially a paper back book with a cardboard cover.

At $75 they should be real embossed leather covers, signature bound and stitched, with gilt edges, a slip case, and at least one bound in book mark.

Maybe, but I really want to know if they'll smudge. The only reason I'd buy these is to not have to treat them with kid gloves.
