I think this thread has probably gone as far as it can - it started off with lots of potential to devolve into a flamewar or a pointless argument about what 'other' people might think. It seems to have got to the point where philosophers are being tossed around and patience is wearing thin, so I'm going to close this one before it collapses into arguments and banning.

If you think that there is a really good reason why it should continue, please email me and we'll consider reopening it if there is a particularly good reason.
