D&D 4E 4E Greyhawk-Forgotten Realms book titles

Well, the sentence about it never coming back. The castle going on tour isn't bad in itself; it hearkens back to some classic Dragon articles and fantasy novels in that regard.
I had missed that part... you are right, that sentence is terrible. Was the insertion of that sentence discussed somewhere?

I must have missed the never coming back part, myself.

I did find it odd, however, that the "Continuing The Adventure" seeds on the very next page (it says there are eight, but I only see five...) mention returning to Castle Greyhawk for more adventures. This would be complicated somewhat by the fact that...it's no longer there.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program:

Mordenkainen's Fantastic Adventure with Elminster's Daughter

To clairfy, I am not concerned about any merger, just asking the question. D&D as I have seen it no longer resembles anything that I indentify with :D OSRIC/Castles & Crusades all the way baby!

In any case, I would like to see:

Temple of Ele(minster)'s Mental Evil
Uh Oh! Is that a Demoness Lady Fungi in your basement?! Elminster, that irrascable wizard is up to his old tricks again of confounding adventurers by sending them on quests into various parts of his tower: They must recover gems and a golden skull in order to woo the lovely girl who has moved into his downstairs apartment. Little do the adventurers know that this girl is none other than Zuggtmoy herself! The players will soon uncover a nefarious plot of rent-dodging (captializing on Elminster's alzheimers as to what day is 'rent-day'....and that he has inadventently added an extra E to his name to make the title work...) when they discover that Lhaeo's outer office has subletted to Lolth; home on summer break, jobless and not a penny to her name! For 4-6 characters of Intelligence of 6 or less.

You win!

The original Greyhawk Expedition thread around here has Mona and I think his partners in crime all disavowing that sentence.
