D&D 4E 4e Iconics?

Now, how do you make a tiefling a core race in a heroic game? Though evil characters and campaigns have always been a D&D sideline, I can't see making a half-demon creature a spokesperson for heroic gaming.

I'm bothered by this.

Antiheros are often staples of fantasy -- and look, now we'll have an entire race of antiheros.
 


This will not be the iconic tiefling. I bet the iconic tiefling will be a "she", and exibit as much demonic skin as possible given her armor of choice.

You know, whenever I see that sort of weapon design -- and it's becoming altogether a far too common sight in D&D for my tastes -- I can't help but wonder two things...

Where does he sheath that thing?

...and...

How does he sharpen it?
