Yup, Jude is free. three of us took advantage of our OAs to put the caster down before he could cast, so the hobgobbo wasn't able to put Sahyr down with his first attack.

I do have a question though about Combat Challenge. Do I have to declare that I am marking certain opponents, or do I mark all opponents that I attack automatically?

In my tabletop game we say teh fighter has to say she's marking the enemies, because sometimes you may not want to (like if there's another mark on it) or another reason.

Thanks Mid. This 4e is still new to me.

IG: If by the time that Druthruss gets his turn, cos I am confused on the order now, and he can get to Sahyrs grappling opponent who is still giving him grief then I will use that action point to get up and charge in to deliver any axe blow that I am able. If things have changed then ill have to wait and see whats going on.

The initiative order is posted in the last combat update, in the "Status and Initiative" spoiler block. The monsters were the last to go, and now it's the PC's turn. You can post in any order you like, but I'll read them in initiative order.

Can't one charge as part of a standard action when attacking with a melee basic attack?

Yes (another one I learned the hard way). Charge is a standard action that happens to include a move. For example, if your speed is 6 and you're not prone, you can move 6 squares as a move action, then move another 6 squares and use a basic attack as a standard charge action.
