Making sure that Vatan gets his +1d6 hp for the Healing Word, just need to know who rolls that.

It looks like IG helps keep track of HP, so I guess he does? Or should I have rolled it and then put it in the post when I used it?

Typically you would roll it, and I'll account for it in the status. Otherwise I'll probably forget, much like I'm sure I've done already...

As for Vatan's current predicament, do you have to use a power that grants the use of healling surges, or can you use an action and just burn one? and what problems are inherent in doing that?

ATM Vatan is thinking of backing off by one square and burning a surge. Any problems with that tactic?

ATM Vatan is thinking of backing off by one square and burning a surge. Any problems with that tactic?

If you haven't used your second wind this encounter, you can spend a standard action to burn a surge and do so. IIRC, your only healing has come from O'Beth, so your second wind should still be available. You can only do it once per encounter, but now is probably a good time. Vatan does seem to be a damage magnet, doesn't he?

I can't believe the damage that orc did I mean after I heal Vatan for ten he comes in and does 22 and that's after the -5 for the moment of glory?!?!

So crits in 4e can lead to some dead PC's pretty quick.

Oh and I will be healing Vatan again even if he does use his second wind I don't think he will get back those 22 hp even with all the help.
