Perhaps he's refering to the rumors that the Magic the Roleplaying Game was killed because it would cause brand confusion.

(Shame no coffee table style book with d20 stats in an appendix though...)

OK! Since you are obviously here and reading this thread, how about giving us the answer to a simple little question?

What year is the release of D&D 4e being planned/scheduled for?

All you have to do is to name a year. We all fully understand that Hasbro or other circumstances can cause changes between now and the year you are currently planning on releasing it, but if you just go ahead now and name the year, it would put a lot of minds to ease I think.

C'mon....... You know you wanna tell us..... :D

No, you haven't. :D

That is also part of the reason why I think that 4e will be much more minis oriented as well - The collectibility aspects involed. Just look at how the D&D minis are done now. Base sets and random booster packs, just like Whiz Kids and their clicky games (collectible minis).
Honestly, I don't mind minis, just as long you keep releasing RPG products alongside with them.

Just speculating. I can't help but disagree with some of your company's business decisions, that include the release of 3.5e in 2003. I guess it is a lot easier for me to forgive you all if you have outside business influence that is beyond your control.

P.S. Didn't know you were keeping tabs on me. Could make a gamer paranoid.

That wasn't speculation. You were asserting as fact that "it doesn't help that the TCG division of WotC is siding with Hasbro against the RPG R&D Group."

Can you please explain further?

Was I that assertive?
