D&D 4E 4E-inspired art...

Wacom Graphire is cheapest ART one, don't get a "Bamboo" (not nearly as good.)

Trust and Genius also sell tablets, *much* cheaper and mostly pretty decent, but not as good as a Wacom.
It's like using a pen or brush, pressure etc affects the brush.
If you have more money, a Wacom Intuos has tilt sensitivity and other features which lets you emulate an airbrush, literally.

vast improvement for doing art :)

I can't do 2d work, I'm just useless at drawing, but I use mine for touching up my 3d work and making textures for 3d models.
Scratches, dirt etc

veins, dirt etc on wings

Great work, Claudio! Elemental Chaos is incredible! And while I'm not a fan of the look of the Fire Archon, in general, yours is most impressive.

That's a newer model of the one I have.

Oh, and those 3D models? Rad!

yeah it's the newer one, mine is the model before it (like yours probably), still USB powered, which is a pest when you want to sit back and scribble on your lap ;)

Ta mate! :) I can't draw a stick man, but I'm good at building things, and scene ideas.

Some folk use "Poser", to set up a human (or other creature) figure as they please, render, then use the image as a basis for their paint work in Photoshop etc.
Much easier than getting a model to pose, if not as perfect :)

I couldn't imagine doing space scenes, the nebulae, in normal 2d mediums like oils etc, EEEEK! Be a nightmare to get right, so much easier with "layers" in digital

Definitely like your Fire Archon better than the MM one.

And your tiefling tops all the PHB tieflings aside from the warlock portrait one.
