Ain't that the truth. There was a world of difference between the Priest's Handbook and Faiths and Avatars.

Myself, I used the Player's Option rules to set up the abilities for specialty priests because I felt that it kept the power levels relatively even withh each other and the cleric.

You're using the Complete Priest's Handbook guidelines/examples on specialty priests aren't you? I agree with this since those were somewhat weak sauce.

Yep. I never picked up F&A, nor any of the Players' Option series. Didn't realize they were that different. F&A was an FR book, right? That would explain why I never got it. And it was 1996, whereas I had stopped buying 2E material in about 1992 or so.
