I took the second option; buying all of WotC's books would put too much of a strain on my budget.

But to be fair, I got my copy of MM2 in the mail yesterday.

That +3 also applies to aid another, and they can also mimic sounds and voices using Bluff. +2 Dex, +2 Cha, low-light vision, speed 6, medium size.

I'm still buying it, but I am a bit annoyed there is 50% less epic tier content in MM2 from MM1.

I'll be buying just so I can finish off most of the classics that were missing from MMI. After that though I'm probably done with MM's. The ease of statting creatures based on their level and role makes multiple Monster books less necessary. Especially with the fluff cut-out. I've got 30 years of monsters to work with!
