Since we've got a bit of a break while a number of us expect to be unavailable, we might as well think about ways to combine our powers. With two clerics we have some good buffs. Righteous Brand from Jack provides a big bonus to melee attacks for one character against the target until the end of Jack's next turn. As an At will, it's a perfect set up power for other more limited attacks, and since it applies for all attacks on that round, it works perfectly with powers like Blade Cascade or Dragon's Fangs that generate multiple attacks.
Our Prophecies of Doom work well for single powerful attacks, especially encounter powers. It's actually sort of a shame no one has crit dependent abiliites.
Good Omens works with multitarget anythings. They work well for early spikes when we fire off multiple big powers and/or don't have time to wait for a normal buffing power to land before attacking.
So the kind of attacks you want to use have a big impact on what powers I use - or vice versa.
Pushing immobilized enemies so they can't attack is often fun.
(insert Beavis & Butthead sound bite here)With Gharesh's ability to curse multiple targets at once, he'll be looking for groups of enemies to start things off, and then start blowing them up afterwards.
At least, that's how I see it now. We all know how things change...
Multiple melee attacks against one target sound much like my character
And my best daily 'blade cascade' is attacking until miss. With a big bonus on each attack...![]()
