I haven't used any life sparks yet. The mass curse thing was an effect from Gharesh's Rod of Corruption.

So I should still have the first life spark I collected, and then two more from the first two servitors I cursed, plus the two or three (can't remember how many there were) from the rest of the servitors that were cursed when I killed the other two--and whatever aboleth was in the area is also cursed, and I'll get that life spark as well when it dies, if it hasn't already. I'll admit that I'm a little confused as to what's going on, so I'm not certain who's dead and who's not... Anyway, I'm thinking that I should have from 5 to 7 life sparks collected.

I'm not sure if the 17 temporary HP stack or not, but if it does, I should have 17 temp hp for each life spark, minus two (because I used the mass curse instead of the pact boon for those two).

I think you were supposed to get Jack's Sacred Flame, since Darrak ended all the save effects he had on his turn.
