D&D 4E 4E "Return to" adventures

Actually, I'd really like to see tomb of horrors _without_ all the dreadful 'and die' stuff... would be one of the more interesting conversions.

I have to assume we're getting against the giants at some point, though... I mean, they've got the tile set and the mini set and they spruced giants up with elemental powers and titan overlords?

That and there's actual elemental evil now, so that one feels like a gimme too.

Now, in converting a lot of the old dungeons, you can often do what he did--combine multiple rooms into one encounter. But that's not always going to work. In some instances, you're going to need to at least tweak the maps to bring rooms together, or to make some of the encounter areas a lot larger than they are, to allow for the sorts of movement 4E encourages.
Then again, if you're the Bad Guy building the dungeon and you don't have much of an army and need to do most of the defending yourself, you're *going* to make it small and twisty so invaders *can't* move wherever they want to, deploy all their fancy-pants tactics, and put you at the disadvantage...remember, you're building the place for *your* convenience and use, not the invaders'. :)

That said, I would not be the least surprised if Keep on the Shadowfell turns out to be a more-or-less modified version of Keep on the Borderlands.

I'd throw in a vote for Against the Giants updated - I love the idea of battling giants, and with the new monster rules you could come up with some really great encounters.

Return to Saltmarsh.
Return to the Palace of the Silver Princess.

Sinister Secrets of Saltmarsh holds a special place in my heart, of course, as the first dungeon I ever played. Also my first encounter with Ear Seekers and Rot Grubs... -grumbles-
