D&D 4E 4e Star Wars

Hello!

Would anyone be interested in collaborating with me on creating a D&D 4e Star Wars total conversion?

I am for using the C*loader program, as the D&DI CB *STILL* Doesn't allow house rules, and we'll NEED house rules!!

I want to base it on the upcoming SW: The Old Republic (http://www.swtor.com/) for classes, abilities, setting, etc.


Ideas so far:


Essentials Knight --> Jedi Knight, +prestidigitation, mage hand, Hypnotism (based on strenth) as a "Combat Jedi Mind Trick.

Essentials warpriest --> Jedi Consular

Smuggler --> Essestials rogue ( Up the DMG for weapons; blasters should do at least 2d6 brutal 1)

Lightsabers? Knight: 2d6 brutal 2
Consular: 2d6

Etc..


Any interest?

A noble idea, however, I feel that SAGA handles SW much better than 4e can. Sure, it was a test bed for 4e concepts, and they went back and added in some 4e stuff such as skill challenges, but I think you may be better off not fully 4e-itizing SW.

If your goal is to have a CB for SW, try making one. I didn't find it too difficult, and SAGA, like 4e, is easy enough to do by hand on paper. I whipped my nephew up a char in 20 minutes (had to refresh myself most of that time) and he had a blast with this "roleplaying thing with the funny dice".
