After a few intense months at work, I'm back at polishing my Star Wars hack of TOR. Things are progressing nicely; a few chapters still need to be written (mainly everything about space combat) but the base game is pretty solid now. A few things got adjusted after a few months of playtesting; I'll update my OP shortly with a new master document for those who are curious.
Removing the opening volley and abstracting equipment as useful items was liberating, as was the removal of money (credits still exist, the story just doesn't focus on that). High-end equipment is already moderated by the system of Rewards, and equipment comes with its own drawback on Load.
