Also with such specific threats the DM would simply not use those that would require a Wizard to be even able to combat that threat.

I wish more people would accept that. There's just too much of the "My way is the only right way" stuff at the moment ...

Heck, I don't understand people saying that about religion either, how could I tell someone their way of gaming is just flat out wrong. Altho we know gaming preference is practically a religion to some people. Hmm...Tiamat or Bahamut.
