At least it wasn't a TPK. Any adventure you survived is success right?

Cheer up, in Hunger of Hadar you have a really nice level 5 daily that does auto-damage .

No TPK- really, the only ones in danger were the 2 Dwarves, my Warlock/Ranger and the Fighter. He was a damage magnet. I was just unlucky a couple of times. I'm not sure anyone else got tagged for double digit damage.

As for HoH, I'm not sure I'm taking that one. I'm also giving Avernian Eruption, Crackling Fire, Lure of Gibbeth and Tyrannical Threat a hard look (assuming, of course, we get to move beyond PHB1).

In the meantime, I wound up "Weakened"...and didn't roll a save roll over 3 until the next to last round of combat.

I have a feeling I'd enjoy the game more if my dice liked me.

Yup, pretty much.

One of the reasons I went with an avenger was that I got to roll twice.

Of course, I roll double 3s so often it's depressing.
