D&D 4E 4E's announcement left you in what condition? ;)

4E's announcement didn't overcome my Will Defense and so had no effect. However, I'm -3 persistent levels down the condition track due to the cancellation of Dragon and Dungeon.

I'm still a little leary... Kinda like my cat when someone strange comes to the house... Sitting up high, not too sure what to think and definatly don't want it to touch me yet but if it's nice I'll probably warm up to the idea.

I raised an eyebrow and chuckled (IOW, I made my Will save). Not quite the jump-out-of-my-chair-and-scream-hallelujah response I got from the 3E announcement (rolled a 1 back then).

I felt a snarky sort of enjoyment at the suffering of all of the people that spent hundreds of dollars on all of the 3.x splatbooks, all of which will be virtually worthless in about 9 months... You'll be able to pick them up in used bookstore bins for a dollar or two.

Then I felt guilty about it.

Then I thought "serves them right".

Then I thought "I wonder if they'll buy all of the 4E books and the 4.5E books also?"... and then I figured that they probably would.


Then I felt like a total idiot for not recognizing that the title asked me what D&D condition I was in.
