A little confused on the new skills and hope some clears this up for me. What are the new skills replace to 3.5 edition and how many skill points a first level character gets. I want to make a character sheet using new skills so my players ease into 4th edition campaign.
Thanks in advance.

No more skill points. Everyone gets 1/2 their level as a bonus to all skill checks, and get a +5 bonus to their trained skills. Rogues have 6 trained skills, and other classes have fewer.

A big list of 4e skills are floating around here somewhere...

Notable differences is that the list is about half the size. Things like Move Silently/Hide or Sleight of Hand/Disable Divice/Open Lock or Listen/Spot have been condensed into Stealth, Theivery, and Perception respectively.
