ok, i ask becuse I thought my group was handling it the wrong way; apparently we were only hafl wrong.

I would argue that taking a 5foot step into an opponent square would still provoke an AOO. The only reference of it is in the bull rush rules, but it says the enemies around you get an AOO on the move, not because of the actual push.

And the AoO in this case is a result of entering an opponent's square, not as a result of leaving a threatened space (which is how movement provokes AoOs). Your point is...?

Actually, I don't think you can do this. While you can move through an opponent's square, I don't think you can stop movement in the square. I'm looking for a rules cite...

Check out grapple. When you grapple, you step into your opponent's square. This movement can incur an AoO (but not from your target) if you have already moved that round. If you hadn't, you're fine.
