D&D 5E 5e Halcyon Academy

The cool night air flows over the group as they follow Dariana, who follows the trail North. Once found, the trail is an easy one to follow. They travel for some time, and notice that the forest is eerily quiet. As if the creatures of the forest have slunk back to their holes.

Zivar does his best to keep his eyes open and scanning around but his eyelids are heavy and his thoughts keep wandering, visions of the Priest sitting in his chair eating stew and talking with them.

Asherah kept her ears cocked forward, listening to the night sounds, and her eyes searched the trees and foliage. She didn’t ignite her spear just yet. Her tail swished nervously behind her, brushing Quentin occasionally as they moved through the woods.

As the group moves through the quiet forest, they hear a familiar voice in the distance. It's the priest's voice, full of terror and anguish. Quentin is able to make out what he is saying. He is repeating one word over and over: "No."

Dariana's bow begins to hum feintly in her hands.
