Quentin takes to the training at the School of Combat well. Where Dariana focused on her bow, Quentin focused on close combat with his trident. Of course, no matter how good he was, no matter how perfect his technique (from the hours he had already spent training before coming here), Professor Taris did not seem impressed with any of it. He constantly pointed out flaws in Quentin's techniques, straightening his arm, refusing to give any sort of compliment. Even as Quentin began to advance past his peers, who had started when he had or just before, still the Professor gave him nothing.

OOC: Quentin has received a level in Fighter, with the Mariner Fighting Style. In addition, his trident seems to have grown sharper as he learns better how to use it. In addition to functioning as a Trident of Fish Command, it is now also a +1 weapon.

OOC: For Asherah, I had forgotten to mention her weapon, the Flametongue Spear. As she grows with it, it reveals a new feature: the shaft can shrink down to a foot in length, and extend again at her will. While shrunk, it becomes a flametongue dagger, and is easily concealable. It can be extended again as part of an attack.

Mim spends most of his time in the forest whether Morgana is there or not, he is till not fully comfortable with his powers alternating between them and his hand crossbow using trees for target practice often cursing with his new found linguist skills as he is not a particularly good shot with either spell or arrow something just seems to be missing. When Mim is not practicing he is at the bar with his friends that he has sworn to protect. Sometimes he can be found skulking round the combat and skill schools thinking of what would of been, he takes particular interest in watching his friends at the combat school. Not many of the other students bother with Mim in fact they seem to be afraid of him but then he has noticed an aura of fear emanating from himself since he undertook Morgana's offer one he can turn to his advantage if needed.

Mim got greedy one day and all though he had a sizeable sum of gold he tried to steal some more, he got caught and had to bribe his victim 60GP to keep quite about the ordeal.

Zivar looks around at the table obviously bursting at the seems with excitement.

"Remember what Quenten did the day we met the little Pixie on our way here? He asks to everyone.

Wiggling his fingers with practiced paterns Zivar looks to the glass of water as the liquid spirals out of the glass before forming the shape of a small trident and arching into his now empty ale mug.

His smile takes up his entire face. "Told you I was going to learn to do that."

"Wow! Good work Zivar! I would've expected you to mold earth rathen than shape water. But it IS a cool trick especially with cooling down part."
Quentin smiles and Zivars beer freezes over

OOC: What happened with Lyla? I cannot imagine she's interested in Quentin fighting. Eventually he may turn to her for female companionship I'll level him up tomorrow.

Morgana notices the seemingly wretched state of her new servant. At first, she is disgusted. But after a while, she notices something about him, and begins laughing.

When asked why, she informs Mim that the tides of chance ebb and flow from him. It's a rare ability, and many who have it are unaware, suffering from either very good luck, or very bad.

Controlling it turned out to be very simple. Once he knew what to look for, the feeling of Luck inside him was obvious. While he could not affect everything that happened, and at times no matter what he tried, he still did not get the effect he wanted, but he now had some measure of control over the natural luck.

OOC: Mim now has the Lucky Feat. I was waiting to give this out until someone showed abnormal luck, but considering how much Mim has had to deal with, I feel it's fair to give this to him.

Lyla still keeps around Quentin, but she also spends some time around Mim, considering he is now the only one of the group who speaks Sylvan. She also likes to watch him play pranks.
