D&D 5E 5e Halcyon Academy

The image of the larger creature suddenly grew exponentially in Grody's eyes. He yelped as it hove up into striking distance and barely got his shield spell up in time. Grunting under the gorce of the blow, he dropped to his knees. Beyond all logic, he began to grovel at the creature, begging for his life in the most pitiful way. While at the same time shuffling aside to allow his friends the easiest access to attack the creature.

OOC: Cower, grovel and Beg. Not sure if it will work against the mindless undead, but it's worth a try. If successful anyone who attacks it will have advantage for this turn. (Including Jordy, Grody goes first after the Zombies.)

Quentin keeps at what works. If someone hits the zombie and hurts it, he can finish it off. If no one hurts one, he gets them first and somebody else can kill them.

Sparing a glance toward the big zombie he sees Grody on his knees. He didn't expect the big one to move so quickly, but they'll have to make do.

"Grody! Burn it! You killed Bertha, you can kill this too!" he tries to encourage little kobold.

Unfortunately, splitting his attention is never good and his attack barely grazes the undead.

Round 3

Asherah saw the large creature looming over Grody. She wanted to go help the kobold, but she and Quentin had their own horde to deal with.

“You can do it, Grody!” Asherah yelled encouragement. She spoke a brief prayer and her holy symbol lit up. A shimmering field of translucent energy sprung up around Grody.

OOC: Grody gets +2 AC

Asherah’s weapons swung into the zombies around her and Quentin, though her flail was getting heavier now with less strength behind each blow, and her spear missed its next piercing of zombie flesh.
