D&D 5E "5E is of no interest to me" - really? Already?

No... that's still completely useless. WotC IS MAKING 5E. .

Maybe.

Companies change their minds and their product plans all the time.

If they get an overwhelming reaction of "Nope, not buying it" then WOTC (or Hasbro) may decide
1) Not to release 5th edition
2) To change the design goals so as to be less ambitious and risky. Eg, make a "Better" 4th ed as opposed to a unified D&D
3) Doubtless other possibilities that I haven't thought of

I've closed a thread which was in 'reply' to this one, and I'm closing this one too - please concentrate on discussions about the game rather than discussions about other peoples behaviour or decisions - not least because it encourages a 'right to reply' which can lead to drawn battle lines. Been there, done that, didn't work out so well last time.
