Well, the "positive only" statement was in the original post, but lots of folks might skip over that stuff.

Let's not sell this idea short. It takes very little effort to say nothing, which most of us chose to do. Being proactive requires an effort. Not saying anything negative may be the mathematical equivalent of saying something positive, but a double-negative isn't always a positive.

There was a missing +1 to 5e, yes (Check the post after mine). It's easily done (especially since the posts were only a few minutes apart).

Anyway, more important things:

4e stands out for the bravery of its design, the soundness of its mechanics and for really innovating on the game. I will always love it for that, and for being the first D&D that really was designed to be easy to run.

I've been upvoting 4e all thread, but IF YOU HATERS (jk) can say good things about it so can I. I reeeeeally love skill challenges. I've stollen them for almost any game for skill based encounters
