Sooooo...
I do love 13th age as a system, but I wouldn't mind adding some options to the arsenals of spellcasters, who currently have a couple of nice options but *might* benefit from some nice little extras purely from the perspective of fostering creativity and fun. I've been paging through the 5e PHB and thinking about some spells to add as options and I was curious as to what the board thinks. Keep in mind that these are just spitball options; I'm looking at as many spells as come to mind and seeing if you have any feedback. I'm sure several of these would be seriously overpowered as written.
Please note that I have ONLY thought of the cleric and wizard here; the sorcerer is a bit too blast-y and the druid, necromancer, and chaos mage too quirky to merit thoughts on this matter. Here were the spells I wanted to evaluate:
Cleric
Banishment (L7 daily)*
Circle of Death (L7 daily)
Commune (L9 daily)
Control Water (L5 daily)
Dispel Evil/Good (L9 daily)*
Earthquake (L9 daily)
Plane Shift (L9 daily)

Thoughts? My goal is to expand the cleric's spell selection and to add new utility options for the wizard, but I figured I'd throw in a couple of other choices.
