Congrats, I continue to be amazed how quickly some of the posters here manage to pile up their post-count.
Well, I've been around since 2002, so I'm part of the old guard. And I don't post anywhere near as much as some do.

It was more a general observation than aimed at anybody in particular. Though to point out one new guy who has amazed me it's Mourn. He joined here right around the 4e announcement and already has nearly as many posts as I do when I've been hanging around here for better than two years on this account.

EDIT: checked up on Mourn and apparently he's been here since 2003. I just hadn't seen him around before the 4e announcement. Still there are a couple of new guys who've jumped in post 4e announcement and hit 1,000 plus posts in a matter of months. Which for me is mind blowing. But I'm also the sort of person who doesn't use my cellphone more than about 20-30 minutes of airtime in a month.

However, I'm having fun, so far. Now if I can just get my Deliberative argument assignment straight in my head, I'll be fine. (I'm writing it on the idea of the NHL salary cap needing to be revised.)

Once you do have it straight, I'd wouldn't mind seeing your thoughts on the subject. I have a couple ideas, myself, but I'm not too sure if they're necessary, because I'm not totally convinced we have yet seen the total ramifications due to it. And are you speaking of the cap specifically, or the collective bargaining agreement in general?

I'm limiting it to the Salary Cap itself. The whole CBA is beyond my comprehension. I've got it done, but you'll understand if I don't give it to anyone until it's been graded. More than likely it will end up being posted on my personal forum.

If so, that'll put you back down with the rest of us peeps....

Which is just a terrifying idea for some of us.

I've actually lost count of my own postcount - this post at least gives me something to look at and examine.

Edit: 3953 - just shy of 4000! Of course, vast numbers of posts were lost when they deleted the old Hivemind threads that were causing problems. I believe at one stage I had over 8000 or so.

I'm pretty sure that the posters back then that hit the baords daily lost a massive amount of posts. I know I lost a hefty amount, but I seem to be recouping nicely.
