[sblock=Shifting Seas]
Rabbit actually wouldn't know that 6 Eagle had left for an "astral journey" - he believes that the "Shifting Seas" means the Transitive Isles (an actual sea where the islands shift around). It's certainly possible that he's wrong, but that's where I was going when I wrote the backstory.
So I'm going to interpret it as the other way around - he recognizes in 6 Eagle the signs of someone whose soul is missing, and realizes from that that he's gone on an astral journey. That ok?

7 Rabbit murmers sadly to himself, still gazing into his brothers eyes. As he muses, his words gain conviction, ending with a violent oath.
[sblock=Magari]
"Oh, my poor brother. Your eyes are empty. Where is the soul behind them? Have you been following the condor's flight? Why? You are no mystic, no priest. You were - you are a warrior! I swear I will find what distant sky you visited and bring your soul back to join your heart!"

He wheels to face the githyanki prisoner, one hand still on 6 Eagle's arm.
"What did you just say?" he demands.
"Something about a ritual and a soul?"

I'll assume that means the gith doesn't repeat himself, but to keep things moving I'll also assume Mri'Thas or somebody fills him in.

Rabbit turns back to 6 Eagle.
"Ah! Good idea - your mage was quite right, these two have been lost on a spiritual journey, and it should be possible for us to trace that journey to wherever they are now. Or at least where their journey began." He examines both 6 Eagle and the halfling carefully.

Arcana (1d20+9=26, 1d20+9=29)
Woo! 26 to find an arcane signature on 6 Eagle, 29 on the halfling!
Man, if somebody can Aid Another, I can get that second roll up to DC 30! Not sure if that's allowed post-facto, though.

As he prods at them, he offhandedly asks,
"By the way, has anyone ever heard of the 'Shadow Man'?"
