You won't be violating anything as I happily grant you permission to use the names for such purposes. :D

If you want, we have a home for just such purposes -- the support site for BotR (The Tree of Life) has a "Crunch" section, where we'd be happy to post peoples' takes on avatars of the gods. Just send along such takes to botr@greenronin.com.

You can check out the Tree of Life at:

Thank you very much for the permission to post the avatars. I shall post them on the Tree of Life and send a note to the General RPG forum when I get started, with a link, so that people can visit the site (I had bookmarked the Tree of Life a week or so back and I feel it is one of the best support sites out there).

I'd just like to add my three-thousand, nine-hundred and ninety-nine cents in. That's what I paid (US) for the Book of the Righteous and it was worth every one of dem' pennies. From my understanding that's pretty comparable to $64 Canadian. It really is an outstanding book. Go for it, splurge a little, I sincerely doubt that you'll regret it.

(and I don't work for Green Ronin)

Now I figure it's time to explain why $64 seems outrageous, even though it's only a dollar or two more than the "proper" conversion of currently from US Dollars to Canadian Dollars.

So far, the few books that have been released in the US with a list price of $39.95 (such as the Epic Level Handbook, Star Wars d20 Revised) have been UNDERPRICED in Canada. Look on the back of the ELH or SW and you'll notice that the Canadian price is only $55.95. That's a sginificant price cut for we Canadians (it should be $62 to keep up with the currency conversion).

The fact of the matter is that Wizards of the Coast realized that pricing a book at or over $60 will scare off a lot of buyers, thus the reduced pricing in Canada for their heavier books.

Drat! I'm only an hour or so from the Canadian border. I should've bought my heavy books up there. Oh, wait. I'm a member of my FLGS, and get a nice discount for loyal service...never mind. :)
