6th Level Character Challenge

I believe being a specialist gives you a +1 per damage die to damaging spells of your specialized school. I could be wrong though. But if that is true, then the modified fireball would be 12d6+12, possible max of 84 points.

No, it doesn't. Also, your wizard won't be able to use Energy Admixture until next level, when he will be able to use it only on ray of frost.

Hmm.. I haven't read the feats in awhile, but I didn't see a level increase for the spell. I can't find a tome and blood errata on Wizards site.

Character, male dwarf Clr6: CR 6; ECL 6; Medium-size Humanoid (dwarf); HD 6d8+18; hp 45; Init +2; Spd 15 ft; AC 22 (+10 full plate, +1 ring of protection, +1 Dex); Melee shortspear +6 (1d8+3/crit x3); Ranged shortspear +6 (1d8/crit x3); SA rebuke undead, spells; SQ dwarven traits; AL NE; SV Fort +9, Ref +5, Will +10; Str 14, Dex 14, Con 16, Int 10, Wis 18, Cha 10.
Skills and Feats: Concentration +12, Knowledge (religion) +9.
SA–Rebuke Undead (Su): 3/day, Character can attempt to rebuke undead creatures. He can rebuke undead with no more than (1d20+8)/3 HD. Each attempt, he rebukes 2d6+6 total HD. Undead with 3 or fewer HD are commanded instead.
Cleric Spells Prepared (5/4/4/3):
Domain Spells (Death and Destruction):
Equipment: +2 full plate, shortspear, +1 ring of protection, +2 periapt of Wisdom, +1 cloak of resistance.

Half Ogre Monk-5 with the Lightning Fists feat (Sword and Fist), and Bracers of Armor with the Energy Drain Armor special ability (Defenders of the Faith).

3 touch attacks per round draining 1d4 levels each... with 10' reach.

Throw in Combat Reflexes and Large and In Charge.

Edit - oops, can't qualify for Lightning Fists at Monk-3, so it'll have to be his Monk-6 feat. The choice is then between two attacks with 10' reach, or four as a human Monk-6 with 5' reach.

-Hyp.

Go paladin, who progressively becomes less good and militant; eventually becoming LE and turning into a Blackguard. By then, he'll hopefully be able to trade in a lot of paladin levels and gain some cool abilities, asides from Sneak Attack and a quasi-familiar.

I'm not going to go into too much detail here, but I used a really nasty one on my players in the past, using only classes/templates from the three core books:

Start with a Dwarf Weretiger Rogue/Fighter (ECL 6). Stay in Hybrid mode during all fights. Even though it's an ECL +4 template you can't have less HP than a tiger does (6 HD), DR 15/silver is nice at that level, and you get bonuses to saves, Natural Armor, three bonus Feats, and HUGE stat boosts (12 STR, 4 DEX, 6 CON)

Then go Barbarian, Cleric of Fharlanghn (Luck and Travel domains), Fighter, Ranger. Go to NE alignment. Then, go Assassin, Shadow Dancer 2, Blackguard 2.

End result: a character that can NONMAGICALLY sneak up on the party, do one or two really nasty rounds of attacks, then disappear into the crowd. As long as you're careful with his items you're set.

Sunelf
20 int
Fifth level wizard/1st level Shadow Adept

Feats:
Spell casting prodigy
Shadow Weave
spell focus: enchantment
Greater Spell Focus: Enchantment
Scribe Scroll
Insidous Magic - dc11+clevel for other's div. spells to see mine
Pernicious magic- dc11+clevel for other's counterspell(unless using dispel magic)
Tenacious Magic-DC15+clevel to dispell

Spell DC's:
SW = +1
SCP = +1
21 int = +5
spellf. = +2
Gsellf. = +1

add spell level and bam. He can make anyone bow to him with his high DC's. Lv.3 spells have a dc of 23. Give him a head band of intellect and you're set.It's basically the beginning levels of the "irresitable" wizard smack down except I dont think it uses the shadow adept PrC.

Right now, I play him defensivly (using his 3rd level spells to put the big guys out of commision then going invisible and buffing with haste.) but once he gets lv.5 spells... Dominate Person, Feeblemind, Hold Monster, and finally Mind Fog.

This may seem boring, but if you are going for a follower of a follower of a slaughter god, then one combo might be the good old human fighter, with a Greatsword.

At 6th level you can take Great Cleave and Whirlwind Attack. If your character is a trusted member of the party at first, and is in the middle of the party during a battle...well a whirlwind attack is a nice bit of slaughter, isn't it? :)

It's not in the errata, it's in the book itself. Admixture costs some levels.

Half-Orc
Barbarian 2 / Fighter 4
High Str, good Dex and Con

has Darkvision, Fast Movement, Rage, Uncanny Dodge

give him Ambidexterity, Two Weapon Fighting, Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Bladed Gauntlet, from Sword&Fist, 1d6, 17-20/x2), Weapon Focus (Bladed Gauntlet), Power Attack, Cleave and ASAP Weapon Specialization (Bladed Gauntlet) and Improved Critical (Bladed Gauntlet)

let him have two keen bladed gauntlets with energy burst enchantments as soon he can afford them

Hope, I´m not missing anything. Don´t have the books at hand.
