70s CBS Late crime drama?

So, when I was younger, back in the 70s iirc, CBS ran some series late night instead of talk shows - talking 1130 and later.

One of these I thought was called Scene of the Crime.

It was typical hour to 90m mystery fare but while the actors stayed the same they each played different characters week by week. So, one week the actress might be the femme fatales on a cruise ship and the next the meek librarian in a small town and do on.

Any idea what it was called? Scdne of the Crime reveals other shows?

I remember in the early 90s, they had something like "Crime Time After Prime Time". They had like a different show every night. One of them was Forever Knight, about a vampire detective.

Then they got Letterman.

But long before that, they had a movie in that time slot.

"Forever Knight", the TV series, was based on a made for TV movie called "Nick Knight" which starred singer Rick Springfield. I liked the series OK, but the movie was better and worth seeing, if you can find it.
