System
3rd Edition is built on a system designed to serve pacing and staging. The keywords are “heroic” and “cinematic.”The system is:
- easy to learn, so you can start playing fast;
- cinematic, supporting action and panache;
- inspired by Roll & Keep, with clear, dynamic resolution;
- based on two colors of d10s: one color for your action dice (what you accomplish), and another for your wound dice (what you suffer and the consequences that build up);
- designed to encourage risk-taking, “success with style,” and interesting consequences.
