802.11b at Gencon?

Does anyone know what kind of internet access will be available at Gencon? I'm bringing my laptop, and hoping that someone somewhere is going to have wireless access set up (that I can get to for free).

Does anyone know if there are rooms at the hotel that offer a broadband connection of any kind?

Most hotels have connections now, just have to watch that cost!

Not sure if the center will have access but expect some form of public terminals on site.

Convention centers charge an outrageous amount of money to give internet connections to the exhibitors. I'd be surprised if they were to suddenly give internet connections for free.

I'm not exhibiting this year so I can't say for sure. Someone who is exhibiting should be able to tell you.

Last year they had 4 or 5 computers on stands out in one of the main halls that were all connected. The connection was fast, but I don't know what it was exactly (not dial up). They were free for anyone to use, and you could sign on, check your email, check ENWorld, or whatever.

I imagine they will be there again this year. At least I'm hoping that they will.
