A challenge for all you scholars of ancient games

Okay, folks.

A billion years ago, when Basic was boss and Commodore 64s roamed the earth, there was a fantasy game called the Blade of Blackpool. It was a simple text interface, with primitive--though not for the time--graphics.

Does anyone know where I can find a scan or electronic version of the map of the region? I think it was inside the booklet, or on the box, or something.

Yes, I'm asking the impossible. I challenge you to prove otherwise. :D

Oh my god, I remember that game. I played it on an Apple II+... Never got past the damn plant... :(

Ari, I went looking for the map possibly online, and all I found was to be assaulted by a legion of spyware. I had to fight for my life to be free of their barbed tendrils. :)

Sorry I couldn't help.

I think you had to give it bees, or something weird like that.

I personally never got past the seamonster who was just a few screens after the plant. Apparently, you have to get it drunk or something.

Those old text games were weird.

And Heny, no prob. I appreciate you trying; glad you got out with your cookies intact. ;)
